Animal Cruelty Investigation Seminar (Free)

This free, 8-hour, instructor-led training classs explores the investigation and prosecution of crimes against animals. Students will learn how to properly respond to calls for service involving crimes against animals, conduct a quick animal welfare assessment, and maintain officer safety and biosecurity while interacting with domestic animals. This training is provided by subject matter experts from Florida law enforcement and animal cruelty investigation professionals. Law enforcement CEUs are provided through Gulf Coast State College. Animal Control Officer CEUs are provided through the Florida Animal Control Training Commission.
